SPGBK Black History Educator Awards
In celebration of Black History Month, we are proud to honor three outstanding educators who have made a significant and positive impact on the Black community through their work in schools across North Carolina. This recognition aims to spotlight the dedication, passion, and commitment of teachers, counselors, and administrators who go above and beyond to create an inclusive, supportive, and empowering environment for their students.
We invite you to nominate educators who have demonstrated exceptional service and leadership in their school communities. One winner will be selected from each school level—elementary, middle, and high school. Each winner will receive an SPGBK Watch and a Certificate of Recognition as a symbol of our gratitude for their unwavering dedication to fostering educational excellence and cultural understanding.
Nominations will be accepted until 2/14, and the winners will be announced later during Black History Month. Please note that nominations are open only to those currently employed in North Carolina schools, and self-nominations are not permitted.
